Understanding Courier Services and Delivery of Wholesale Chinese Goods

By Nail Salan

When shopping for Chinese stock products, many folks often enquire about procuring goods through a courier service of their personal choice. However, it should be understood that this is often impractical for an international Chinese wholesaler to ship goods to various customers across the globe based on individual preferences. Usually, every nation has a different set of shipping and customs-related policies, making it difficult for the China wholesale vendor to accept individual shipping preferences.

International Courier Preferences: Usually, every wholesaler listing stock products lists its own chosen courier provider for every location. However, it is always recommended to buy goods from wholesalers who are associated with courier service providers of international repute. B2CStock is one such source of discount priced Chinese goods that ships goods across the world by employing the services of prominent courier brands like DHL and TNT. In fact, the site even lists DHL contact numbers for various countries. This helps the customer to check whether there are any shipping provisions set forth by the courier company in a particular region. Further, B2CStock has taken the initiative in ensuring the delivery of ordered goods without bothering the customers. To ease the entire process, its own customer service representatives establish contact with DHLs offices if there is any delay in the delivery of goods. Similarly, contact numbers have been listed for TNT for various listed countries and in case there is an unexpected delay in delivery, the customer can simply dial these numbers to contact the local/regional TNT office to resolve the issue quicker.

Delivery Time:

Another question that is posed by online shoppers of wholesale-priced Chinese goods is the time taken for the delivery of goods. It has to be understood that the total time taken for delivery of goods is actually made-up of two separate entities. One is the processing time that is taken by the vendor of wholesale goods and this includes the packaging and the paperwork that accompanies preparing a packaged item for shipment. The second part is the actual transit time or the shipping period. Niche wholesale dealers like B2CStock stock products and package them within an impressive processing period of just about four to six working days. The standard shipping time taken by international couriers to actually deliver the goods at the mentioned destination is about five to seven working days. However, customers who are willing to pay extra some for quicker shipment of goods can seek expedited shipping services that take just about four days on an average for international shipping orders.

Quantity to be delivered:

One common problem that has arisen among folks looking to buy wholesale products from Chinese wholesaler at cheap prices is the compulsion set by many Chinese wholesalers and dropship dealers who do not entertain orders that are below a basic pre-defined quantity. B2CStock is unlike these usual wholesalers and does not have any minimum order requirement (MOR) which is often used as an excuse to force the customers to order more than the required quantity of goods. In fact, B2CStock takes this initiative further and even provides shipping services for single and sample items on a global delivery basis.

Guitar Types - Understanding the Different Types of Guitars

By Drew Peterson

Today one very popular instrument happens to be the guitar. Of course there are a variety of different types of guitars out there. Various guitars have a different appearances, sound, and are a bit different to play. Trying to decide what type of guitar to learn and play? Here is a look at some of the different guitar types to choose from.

If you're seeking out a starting point, then your starting point should be acoustic. It might sound boring, but these are great beginner instruments. They don't rely on electricity, and are in fact able to produce a sound using only their bodies. These are made of a lot of different types of wood, and each wood may make a different sound.

There are a lot of different types of acoustic guitars, and it may be difficult to choose among them at first, but a piece of good advice would be to go with the classical guitar. Beginners will find this one easy to use, and it will sound good as well. Another type of guitar that you might like is the flamenco guitar. This is a type of guitar that shares strong resemblance with classical guitars, but they are thinner and according to some produce a better sound.

A 12 string guitar is another type of acoustic guitar. This guitar comes with 12 strings instead of the normal 6 strings of regular guitars. Each string has another string that is tuned to the same note but it sounds an octave higher. It provides a very pleasing sound.

Another type of acoustic that you can get is called the steel top. They're sort of like the classical guitars, and they have heavily reinforced bodies. They also differ because they are a lot larger. These also possess a much warmer tone which tends to make a more mellow sound than other guitars.

Acoustic base isn't a bad choice. It's a bass guitar that doesn't feature any sort of electric pick ups. It has a great body which gives off a sound agreeable to anyone, and has four strings. You can pick up models which have more strings, five or six if you so desire.

Of course you also have electric guitars as well. These guitars have electronic pick ups that take the vibrations made by the strings, and they amplify these vibrations. Usually they must be connected up to a good amplifier. They come with solid bodies or sometimes semi-solid bodies and without an amplifier they don't make much sound at all.

Most electric guitars come with special control knobs. These knobs can raise or lower the volume and may change the guitar's tone as well. There are whammy bars on some of these guitars which help to shift the notes you play without you having to change the position of your fingers. They are often used to produce a special guitar sound often referred to as "crying."

Those are just a few of the great guitars which you can choose and learn to play. There are many types out there, but remember it's always good to start with the basics. When you have learned the rudimentary skills, then you can go on to choose a different guitar, or stay with the one you initially chose if you so desire.

Holidays In Greece : The Greek Cuisine

By Tom Johnson

This part of our guide to holidays in Greece covers the cuisine of the country...

Greece is located in Southern Europe and has extensive coastlines and islands in the Aegean, Ionian, and Mediterranean Seas. It offers a myriad of experiences, landscapes and activities and is famous for its beaches, reliable sunny summer weather, nightlife, historical sites and natural beauty.

Greece is one of the world's top 20 tourist destinations. This southern European country attracts more than 15 million visitors a year, 90% of which come from other parts of Europe (but increasingly, the proportion of visitors from other regions of the world has been growing).

Major destinations include Athens and the islands located off the Greek mainland (particularly Crete, Corfu and Rhodes). Some areas are very tourist orientated, but for those looking for a quieter time away, there are still many rewarding areas in the country free of large-scale tourism.

The great bulk of visitors arrive in the tourism season, which runs from April through October and peaks in July and August. In the off-season, the bulk of Greece's tourist infrastructure becomes dormant, particularly on the islands.

Athens and Thessalonki handle the bulk of scheduled international flights. However, during tourism season, several charter and planned low-budget flights arrive daily from many European cities to many of the islands and smaller cities on the mainland.

A valid passport is required on entry and a visa may also need to obtained by residents of non-EU countries. However, citizens of select non-EU countries (including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States) are allowed a 90-day visa-free stay.

It's considered a safe country to visit (in terms of occurrences of theft and violence against visitors) and no immunization vaccinations are required or advised prior to traveling there.

By Keith Rayes

That doesnt mean that you have to plunge into the depths of the sea and search for the best cultured pearls . Cultured pearls abound in the market today and you have plenty to choose from. But before you choose, take time to read the following tips so that you will make the most of your pearl shopping.

It is understandable that you have allocated budget for purchasing pearls, hence, do not forget to consider the size of pearls. Pearls are measured in millimeters. If you like large pearls, you hardly have a good chance in finding them because they usually take a long time to form while inside their natural habitat. Size is a factor for determining the prices of pearls. Pearls with sizes below 7.5 are more affordable compared with those that have bigger sizes. Other qualities to look into are luster and surface of pearls. Pearls that reflect light well have high luster and are therefore of high quality. Be on the lookout in looking into the surface because pearls with blemished surface are an indication of low quality.

The quality of pearls is also determined by their roundness. If you want to pick those that are perfectly rounded, try to roll a strand in table. Pearls that smoothly roll are definitely perfectly round.

In addition to roundness, consider the thickness of pearls. Thickness is difficult to determine, hence seek the advice of an expert in determining this quality. Cultured pearls were formed through the implantation of pearl beads in oysters or mussels and were soaked in waters for a long period of time. The long span of time lets solid nacre to form around the beads and enables to determine the thickness of pearls. Do not invest in cultured pearls implanted with plastic or glass beads because they easily peel off.

Thickness does counts too. This quality is not easy to determine so it will be wise if you ask an expert about how to determine it. Cultured pearls are formed by implanting pearl beads on oysters or mussels and were left in water for years. This process will enable the pearls to have thick coating of solid nacre which is the outer layer of pearls. Cultured pearls implanted with plastic or glass beads are of low quality because they easily peel off. Moreover, look into the uniformity of pearls, that is, the pearls in a piece of jewelry must be of the same size, color and luster. It is definitely unsightly and hardly unfashionable to wear pearl jewels with different qualities.

Take extra caution in choosing pearls because some wise manufacturers hide imperfect pearls near the clasp. As to the color, it will be best if you choose those which complement your skin tone.

Getting acquainted with all these information and tips will surely lead you to the most wonderful pearls available today. These tips, if followed, will definitely be worth the money you are going to spend. Click on shopping sites now where you can find a wide array of cultured pearls being sold.

Tips for Planning a Beach Vacation on a Tight Budget

By Alison Bel

If you are planning for a beach vacation on a tight budget you may have to consider the factors like booking tickets, hotel, food and other expenses you make at the time of vacation. Following is a detailed explanation on various factors that are to be well organized to enjoy a successful beach vacation on a tight budget.

Select a vacation spot that fits your budget: Before you select a particular beach spot, do well research and identify the available options. For a particular spot research on areas like the cost of the accommodation, as it is a beach vacation never neglect to assess the quality of the childrens programs and the help offered in cases of emergency, family activities organized and the beach atmosphere. Internet is a best option to collect information. Some of the beach resorts for people with tight budget include the Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas, Disneys Vero Beach Resort, Fla, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu, Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort Casino and Spa, Puerto Rico and many more.

Time of vacation: If you plan for a vacation during the off season you can grab excellent deals. So be flexible and plan accordingly. You can save even more if you make your booking directly rather than engaging a travel agent. Even for your journey, book the tickets well ahead. Avoid any last minute plans. Another aspect you should check is the cancellation terms. If anything unexpected comes up and should drop your trip know the extent of cancellation charges you will be charged and other refund terms. Selection of the resort for accommodation: Book the room for your stay well ahead. You can save a good amount by selecting a room without a beach view. But if you wish to have, do not compromise, and try to cut your other expenses.

Dining: As it is a family vacation it is better to select a hotel with kitchen associated. Though selecting such hotels is costlier you can save a good amount of time and money in the long run. Kids feel very hungry and cannot wait so if you have to go out and dine; it is a time taking process and will also cost much. Another best option is to know some local stores and purchase some sausages from there which will be highly saving. It even avoids the hassle of going to some other place to dine thrice a day and also saves the transportation expenses you may have to spend to reach the hotel.

Shop cleverly: As you have planned your vacation long before, sort out the things you need and purchase them at your place. Generally at beach stations you will be charged heavy amount of taxes, so reduce the extent of purchasing basic needs. I do not suggest you to avoid shopping items that you love but just be wise. Try to restrict the use of credit cards as you will not have an account of your expenses, use either travellers checks or debit cards.

Thus, through efficient planning you can have a wonderful beach vacation within your tight budget.

Titanium Makes It's Way Into Consumer Goods

By Edward Jacobsen

Strength and low weight are properties becoming more in demand in our country. Titanium has become the obvious choice for these applications. Racing industries like boats, auto, and motorcycles are rife with titanium parts. Many of the higher end cars like BMW and Mercedes have embraced titanium as a dependable and performance enhancing metal.

Without a doubt the primary use has been aircraft manufacturing and marine. The first aircraft to extensively make use of titanium was the famous SR-71 Blackbird. Now it is commonly used in modern military and commercial aircraft.

Titanium is increasingly used in sporting goods equipment such as golf clubs, tennis rackets and bike frames. My favorite driver is made from titanium and it performs the best of any drivers I have used.

If you have bought jewelry or even eyeglasses lately chances are that you have been wearing titanium. That is good because titanium is completely hypo-allergenic so it won't cause any problems.

Do horses prefer titanium? I would say that the answer is yes. When they are fitted with shoes that are made from titanium they are definitely going to feel much lighter and will last much longer. That is why farriers choose them over steel these days.

Jewelry designers have also found its durability and inertness a preferred choice for those with allergies. Titanium can be resistant to corrosion and scratches. I have seen sculptures and furniture made from titanium as it becomes more mainstream in the public consciousness. What was once the key to reaching the stars is now becoming a mainstream staple of everyday life. Titanium has become a major force in our ever changing consumer desirability.

Charms and Charm Bracelets For Young Women

By Shiran Cohen

One lifelong type of gift that parents, grandparents, family members or friends can start for their daughters or granddaughters is a charm bracelet. Charms can then be added on for special events in the girl's life, which she will have with her forever. These types of charms are more than just a decoration worn on the arm; they are a true memento of the many wonderful and milestone events in a young woman's life.

Knowing just when and how to start a collection of charms will depend largely on the age of the girl. Obviously the most important factor will be if the girl is going to wear the bracelet immediately or is going to wait until she gets older. Smaller sized bracelets that fit younger girls can be replaced as needed, or perhaps another style would also work. The Italian charm bracelet and charms are a great option since the bracelet can be replaced with the girl still being able to use all the charms.

Another option is to start a young child off with an adult sized bracelet and allow her to help collect charms to wear when she turns a specific age such as 16. This is both a family project as well as something she will look forward to wearing for years, making that birthday incredible special.

Another consideration is that some young girls may want to simply wear the bracelet while they can and then retain it for later when she has her own family. In this way the bracelet and the charms become a gift of her past to her own children.

It is important to keep in mind that charms, even on traditional types of charm bracelets, can be removed and used with another bracelet if the need arises. Many are soldered directly onto the links of the bracelet by the loop, however they can be removed by a jeweler and reattached to another bracelet. This process doesn't damage the charm and is a great way to combine charms from several bracelets.

Charms that are appealing to younger girls and young ladies often include event charms and charms that represent what they love. Animals, school activities, sports, cheerleading, clubs they belong to and special places they have gone are all great ideas for additions to the bracelet.

Parents, grandparents, family members and friends can always add a charm to the bracelet for specific events. Birthdays, awards, recognition for a special gift or talent or even a charm that represents what the girl loves is always a welcome addition to the bracelet.

Starting a young child with a charm bracelet really is a lifelong gift. Since each bracelet will be different, each one of the charms combines on the bracelet to make a one of a kind piece of jewelry. Charms that highlight the young woman's achievements will be much appreciated both for their beauty but also for the recognition and memories they provide.

Greece Travel : Shopping In Greece

By Alan Sweet

In this part of our guide to holidays in Greece we focus on shopping and money...

Greece isn't renowned for its shopping, but it does offer some unique and quality local products. Special purchases include lace, jewelry, metalwork, pottery, knitwear, rugs, leather goods, local wines and spirits, and local handicrafts.

Nearly all Greek cities have large international-style shopping malls with well recognized brands and retailers. But prices are similar to those in other parts of Europe, so you won't find any real bargains unless sales are underway.

Haggling is only tolerated in tourist souvenir stores and in some family-owned arts and crafts shops. But in all other cases it achieves nothing and is considered rude. In places where haggling is accepted, you can get at least 10-20% off the price, and being able to speak a little Greek is likely to help you get the lowest possible price.

Most items incur Value Added Tax (VAT) and this is generally but not always included in price tags. However, some shops do provide tax-free shopping for non-European Union residents. Under this system, people who do not live in the EU can seek a VAT refund when departing the EU. To do this, ask for a VAT voucher when buying an item and show a customs officer all such vouchers and the related items upon leaving the EU.

Greece's official currency is the Euro, and other currencies won't be accepted at all. You can easily exchange currency can easily in larger cities and in any touristed area though. Banks tend to offer the best exchange rates, followed by specialist shops, and then automated currency exchange machines. When changing money, it's a good idea to get mostly smaller notes, and nothing larger than a 50, as many businesses will be reluctant to accept them.

ATM machines are widespread. Most shops, hotels, and travel agencies accept Mastercard, Visa and Eurocard, but some local souvenir shops and restaurants won't accept these cards.
